Oliver Wyman, the international management consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Nick Studer will become Managing Partner of its Consumer & Industrial Value Transformation Practice as of January 1, 2016. Based in London, Studer led Oliver Wyman’s Financial Services practice since 2012. He will remain on the Oliver Wyman Executive Committee, and will continue to report directly to Oliver Wyman President and Chief Executive Officer Scott McDonald.

Studer joined the firm in 1997 and assumed leadership of the Financial Services business in 2012. His consulting work has spanned front- and back-office issues facing financial services firms, including public policy, strategy and financial planning, risk management, and cost management. In his new role he will oversee Oliver Wyman’s extensive global consulting activities across a broad range of businesses, including in retail and consumer packaged goods, business and consumer services, and communications, media, and technology. He has worked predominantly in London and New York, and has experience in major centers across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Nick helped to found, and now sits on the board of TheCityUK, which supports the promotion of the UK's Financial and Professional Services industries.
